Growing up shouldn't feel scary. And talking about it shouldn't either.
Hello Iyla was created to help make the journey through puberty and first periods feel a little easier for girls and for the people raising them.
At the heart of Hello Iyla is a simple belief: preparation builds confidence.
We want girls to understand what's happening to their bodies before their first period arrives, while helping parents open conversations that can sometimes feel difficult to start.
More than a period box
She's Growing isn't simply a collection of period products. It's designed to create a moment between parent and child.
Alongside the practical essentials she'll need at home and at school, we're building education, conversation and reassurance into the experience helping families talk openly about periods, puberty and growing up.
Because knowing what to expect can make all the difference.
Created by a mum & daughter
Hello Iyla was created by Charmaine and inspired by her daughter, Iyla.
As Iyla approached the age where conversations around puberty and periods became more important. Charmaine saw an opportunity to create something that didn't just prepare girls practically, but helped families prepare together.
That idea became Hello Iyla.
Our mission
To help girls feel prepared rather than worried, confident rather than embarrassed, and supported through every stage of growing up.
And to give parents the tools to start conversations that their daughters will remember for the right reasons.
